I've ordered these papyrus bookmarks for the past 6 years. My students pretend to be scribes and paint hieroglyphic names on them. The seller is a great vendor for teachers, and I love that these are made in Egypt, but the overall quality has declined in the past two years. The gold no longer sparkles--it looks almost like a flat tan color. There are a few in each pack that have a crooked design and/or missing part of the pattern due to poor printing or cutting. Again, this is a manufacturing quality control issue, not a vendor problem. If you're a teacher and want to splurge on authentic papyrus bookmarks for art projects, it might be better to order sheets of papyrus from Amazon and cut them yourself. Students could paint their own cartouches and add a border with metallic paint to achieve a similar effect to these here. If a printed cartouche is your chief concern and you are willing to have 5-6 duds in the pack, these are still an acceptable resource.
